LUXEMBOURG- Our first country to visit together in Europe after our Wedlock 💞

This tiny country is landlocked by 3 wonderful countries namely Germany, France & Belgium and people speak German, French and Luxembourgish. Very few speak English. This country has the capital, named Luxembourg city(same as country name). Its one of the safest places in the world which has less crime rating and expensive country 😮…..

On 23rd Feb 2019 our journey started from Esch-Sur-Alzette by train to Luxembourg city, it’s almost a half an hour journey. Tickets are cheaper which costs €2 for 2 hours and €4 for the full day pass and the same can be used for buses and trams.

We visited Grand Ducal Palace, serving as residence of Grand Duke of Luxembourg.

Places to Eat

There are number of restaurants. Vegan restaurants are also available in the city centre. The one which we visited was “Nirvana cafe”. Food was delicious but bit HIGHER PRICED. One must try these vegan curries…..

Or if you want something to hog quickly to save your time the city has many fast food restaurants close by the Gare Central Station.

Accommodations are bit high priced, earlier booking may give a bit of discounted rates. It’s good to find hostels which are safe to stay.
